In 2017 as part of working for a local charity we came up with the concept "Dance 4 Dystrophy". The idea is simple, join forces with local venues and I supply the music, they supply the venue and those attending drop some coins into the bucket and all funds raised help Capital Region Muscular Dystrophy - it's not your usual sausage sizzle fundraiser!
The Basement's "Dark Room" is an intimate small stage venue which sits off the side of the main stage - interconnected to the main bar via a walkway we turn the "Dark Room" into a bright and vibrant club style scene. With easy access for those with disabilities the area is a perfect choice. With an awesome sound system, outdoor area and food served up from "Chompy's" there is something for everyone!
With 30+ years experience behind him, Mista Nige plays a mix of old and new House music - add to this guest DJ's on a regular basis and guest musicians playing live and you have a wide mix of music to enjoy! From 8 til late join us to "Dance 4 Dystrophy" and as they say......
"Come for an Hour or Come for More, Just leave a Donation at the Door!"
